Studying and Living in Australia was absolutely a fantastic experience for me, which could be depicted with 3 words: diversity, flexibility and warmness.
Lectures & tutorials, sports classes & competitions, hundreds of clubs and different kinds of going-outs… The life in UQ was so diverse that I got so much fun. As a business student, I could successfully sign up a software engineering course and learned Python, which I wanted to learn for a long time! I was also engaged in a swimming course and got the hang of freestyle and breaststroke with Australian students.
Besides the diversity, UQ also gave its students much freedom. It was quite flexible. I just loved the system that every class has recording to review! So I could arrange 3-4 day short trips and didn’t need to worry about missing any class. I utilized the time to go toSydney,Melbourne, Perth and Cairns!
The last word was warmness. It not only meant the weather, but what I felt in Brisbane, in Australia. (By the way, the weather in Brisbane must be the best in the world! Not too hot in summer, not too freezing in winter, just warm through the whole year) I got countless smiles from bus drivers, friends, and school staff and much help when I traveled around all by myself.
Brisbane is a beautiful and peaceful city and exchanging in UQ is a choice that I’ll never regret.
