Position: Senior Program Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To develop and execute students recruitment and marketing plan in the markets of domestic and international through multiple channels including direct communication with individual managers, alumni relationship as well as manage enterprises partnership by working with the Guanghua-Kellogg (GK) EMBA team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Work with Program Director and the team to develop comprehensive marketing plans, materials & activities to successfully bring GK EMBA program to the markets.
? Represent GK EMBA Program to senior level decision-makers in a defined set of key strategic accounts in the corporate market. Work with these companies, directly or via partners, to include our program in their broader & long-term talent/leadership development solutions.
? Manage all day-to-day relationships & marketing programs/events with media, partners to raise GK EMBA brand name & presence and reach out to potential students. Additionally, focus on identifying and evaluating the value of partnerships, media relations, promotional events based on ongoing competitive analysis, market research, and the yield results.
? Involve in recruiting activities. Develop and manage accurate recruiting forecasts/updates and communicate them regularly to the team. Consistently meet recruitment targets for the markets.
? Work closely with other colleagues at GK EMBA team and the School in recruitment/admissions, operations, student experience, etc. to better understand requirements from both students and faculty for GK EMBA program so that deliver proper message to the markets. Coordinate necessary support resources from other programs/offices of the School.
? Take on special assignments as needed.
REQUIRED SKILL:
? Proficiency in consultative selling & professional service, as demonstrated by past success in selling to the executive level within large corporations.
? Proven experience successfully developing and implementing multifaceted business channel strategies and marketing approaches, preferably in business education sector. Good relationship with media is a plus.
? Broad understanding of the business school environment and demonstrated interest in management and business education.
? Close familiarity with MBA, Executive MBA programs and the content of a multitude of business education market and management development offerings.
? Strong knowledge of, and comfort with personal computers, inter/intranet technologies (Webinar, video conference...), and computing applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a 4-year degree from an accredited college (MBA preferred).
At least 5 years of successful sales, account management, or business development experience in a business education, consulting, training or professional services environment.
Ability to deal effectively with managers/executives.
Strong negotiation and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bilingual, Mandarin Chinese and English
Ability to manage a variety of potentially conflicting demands and set priorities. Manage yourself and be a self-starter.
Experience analyzing complex data and developing targeted recommendations.
Must be willing and able to travel.
