The Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge (MGAC) 2015 returns and promises to be more than a challenge! MGAC 2015 is an international, multi-dimensional case challenge that has never been seen before in any university competitions worldwide. The competition caters to university students as well as graduates with less than 2 years of work experience. We welcome students from various backgrounds and countries.
In 2015, we promise to make it different and it will be a challenge that has never been seen before.
Over USD72,000 is up for grabs for the 3 winning teams in the Grand Finale. Participants will go through Campus and National level challenges, and top participants will be selected as finalists for the Grand Finale, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Finalists also stand a chance to get a fast pass to join the Global Maybank Apprentice Programme (GMAP).

Application
Students can either apply as an individual or as a team (minimum 2, maximum 5) by submitting an online application at www.goaheadchallenge.com
Shorlisted will be required to complete an online assessment (link will be sent to applicants via e-mail upon application deadline).

Application Criteria
?¤ Students who are pursuing their penultimate or final year of their tertiary education in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines, United Kingdom, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong OR fresh university graduates (<2 year of working experience)
?¤ Have strong academic credentials from any discipline (CGPA of 3.0 over 4.0 and above or its equivalent.)
?¤ Possess good communication skills
?¤ Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
?¤ Display strong leadership qualities and are active in extracurricular activities
Campus Levels: 29 May & 1 June for Hong Kong
60 applicants will be shortlisted to participate in the Campus level challenge
National Levels:10 July for Hong Kong, 8 July for Shanghai/China
Short-listed candidates will be invited to compete in the National level Challenge
Grand Finale: August 2015
Top candidates will be selected as finalists to compete in the final challenge and ultimate challenge for 8 days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
What are the prizes?
Cash prizes totalling up to USD 72,000 will be awarded to the top three teams of the Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge.
Additionally, finalists may be awarded fast pass to join our Global Maybank Apprentice Programme (GMAP). The GMAP is an exclusive 2-year programme where employees are given a holistic learning experience with a customized on-the-job rotations and international assignment to allow the Apprentices to be immersed in Maybank??s global network operations.The programme is also aimed to accelerate these selected employees into a management role upon their graduation from the programme.
