Talent Meets Bertelsmann Workshop 2013创业家潜质生长事情坊

“贝塔斯曼校园达人”(Talent Meets Bertelsmann)，简称TMB，是由贝塔斯曼中国总部举行，面向天下优异大学生的创业家潜质生长事情坊。今年7月，将有最优异的20名申请者将被约请至贝塔斯曼北京总部，加入为期两天的运动。在这两天的运动中，受邀加入TMB的同砚们将通过最真实的商业案例，与贝塔斯曼中国区高管面扑面，体验与众差别的贝塔斯曼式创业。冠军团队除了将受邀赴德国总部加入全球“Student Challenge”项目外，还将获得贝塔斯曼全职事情或相关实习时机。

* 完全真实的商业案例

在这两天的时间内，20名入选者将被分为5组，划分认真一个由贝塔斯曼在中国各公司凭证自身营业生长妄想提供的真实商业项目。2012年的选题涉及移动电子商务、外包效劳、互联网流量变现、图书和杂志的中国市场进入和推广妄想等。选题中的数据完全来自真实的商业历程，而讨论的效果也极有可能被接纳入真实的商业实践中。你的创业史可能由此睁开！

* 对话创业者背后的创业者

各创业公司的总监和贝塔斯曼亚洲投资基金的投资人将作为项目指导，完全零距离的对话，以资助选手相识行业配景，剖析营业模式，准备商业策划书。同时，在这两天中，你还将与各公司CEO和高层司理人举行交流互动，分享企业的谋划理念和职业生长，感受“贝塔斯曼式”的创业家精神。

* 最周全的创业家作育

也想成为创一代，先接受TMB的挑战吧！在这两天中，选手将从相识案例、网络信息、资讯剖析、团队相助、头脑风暴、评估计划、撰写报告，到董事会聚会，履历“贝塔斯曼式”创业的主要办法。

Introduction:

l Talent Meets Bertelsmann (TMB) is a business program and career event of incubating entrepreneurship initiated by Bertelsmann China Corporate Center. On July 10 and 11, 2013, 20 students will have the opportunity to meet Bertelsmann China‘s top executives in the Workshop at our China Corporate Center Office in Beijing.

l The 20 students will work on life business cases and present creative business proposals in the workshop and show their talent in the dinner party. They will also receive 1:1 performance feedback and career advice from Bertelsmann senior executives. The 4 students of the winning team will have the opportunity of going to Germany to visit our headquarters in Gütersloh, Germany and join the global “Student Challenge” Program.

l Students from different disciplines and universities are all welcome to apply!

First prize – A trip to Germany this December!

All the 4 participants of the winning team from the workshop will be going to Germany to visit our headquarters in Gütersloh, Germany.

Together with the German students from another program called “Student Challenge”, you will meet the senior executives in the HQs and take a wondrous look inside this giant media group. You will also attend a workshop there to exchange ideas on current challenges and opportunities in the industry; and to conclude the trip, you will be taken on a company visit and sight-seeing tour around the town!

We are recruiting strong candidates for Entrepreneur Apprentice Program. This is a 1.5 year program where fresh graduates will rotate in various businesses divisions, such as Bertelsmann Asia Investments, its investment portfolio companies and other new businesses to strengthen business competencies, entrepreneurship and leadership skills. Upon successful completion of the program, each will join a specific business and start their own entrepreneurial career with Bertelsmann. In addition, we hire candidates for strategic positions such as Executive Assistant to senior management team members. Executive Assistant will mainly work closely with the managers on new business development projects. They are expected to be an owner of an account(s) within 12 to 18 months and in charge of a sizable profit center in future.

- Internship opportunities with various Bertelsmann businesses in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

How to apply

Our requirements:

- Undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate or MBA student with or without work experience

- Major in business, management, economics, information technology, logistics or media is preferred.

- Strong analytical mindset, profit conscious and outstanding communication skills.

- Innovative and have entrepreneurial ideas and behaviors.

- Have a keen drive to make a difference and the courage to execute them.

- Have work and/or extracurricular experiences that reflect your passion for the media and service industry.

- Proficient both in Chinese and English, oral and written.

Your application materials should include:

1. Updated Resume highlighting your leadership abilities and working/ internship experiences (required)

2. ONE of the following two (a&b) assignments (preferred):

a. An essay with 500 words limit responding to ONE of the following two topics :

? What is your decision-making process/mindset for your latest career/academic/life choice?

? If you have the capability to invest in anything, what will you invest with and invest in?

b. A business proposal on ONE of the following two topics in PowerPoint of no more than 15 slides with a clear structure:

? “Digital Transformation is identified as one of the strategic priorities of Bertelsmann. Going mobile, being one of the crucial steps of going digital, is a key movement Bertelsmann is undertaking to develop more business potential. Please think out of the box for new business ideas to integrate the following sector(s) with Bertelsmann’s existing businesses and/or investment portfolio of Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI):

- WeChat (Weixin ecosystem)

- Mobile (Mobile health, mobile game, mobile shopping…)

- Local Service Platform (Take-away, coupons, group-buying…)

? Which mobile internet company in the market do you think is promising to attain investor’s attention? Why? How would you give the valuation?

A final selection of 20 candidates will attend the Talent Meets Bertelsmann China Workshop on July 10 and 11, 2013.

Interview Schedule: 2 rounds of phone interviews on May 13 – 26; and 1 round face-to-face interview on May 27 – June 7.
